Hello Beautiful Blogging World!

I have finally found some time to catch up on reading blogs, and that has given me the bug to write again. Who knows how long this will last, but I'm hoping to at least blog once or twice a week. I hope I have some readers left because I have missed my little blogging world!

Quick recap of what's been going on in the Putter house:
  • School is back in session and going well. Still keeping me very busy. Mr. P is busy as well.
  • Sunny is still keeping us entertained on a regular basis.
  • We ran away to the beach for a week this summer with two other families-it was fantastic!
  • We headed south for a family reunion this summer also. Saw many aunts, uncles, and cousins that I hadn't seen in a while. Had a great time.
  • We are on a healthly eating plan in the P house. I've lost 10 pounds since vacation.
  • Mr. P has taken on a leadership role in our church and he is doing such a great job. I'm so proud of him!

We've spent a quiet Labor Day weekend and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I worked for a few hours on Saturday, and then we went over to our friends' house to watch the UK-UL game. It was a beautiful day, and our friends had the TV set up on the deck under a big UK tent. It wasn't nearly as redneck as it sounds!! The food theme was Mexican, and we had tacos, Mexican lasagna, chips and salsa, and cheese dip. Mr. P and I brought "s'morittos" which were marshmallows, chocolate and graham cracker crumbs in a tortilla. After the game, we sat around with some good music and wine and chatted for a while.

Sunday was a relaxing day all around. I spent a good part of the day catching up on blogs, then Mr. P and I ran over to school so that he could help me move some things around in my office. I spent today doing some chores: changing the linens on the bed, catching up on laundry and doing some schoolwork. We finished the long weekend off with a great meal of marinated ribeyes, potatoes, corn on the cob, cheese bread, and strawberry pie.

A great weekend that has me recharged and ready for the (shorter) week ahead!
